The
Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association
mission is to provide a united voice to represent an industry that
is valued in excess of $700 million dollars.
As the
state's number two cash crop, most Georgia fruits and vegetables are
grown for the fresh market to be sold and consumed in other states.
The
G.F.V.G.A. provides programs and services to it's membership designed to
increase production efficiencies, provide educational opportunities,
promote new markets monitor legislation, encourage applied research and
improve communications among G.F.V.G.A. members and industry suppliers.
