The annual United Fresh Washington Conference in Washington, D.C. brings together hundreds throughout the fresh produce supply chain, to address the industry’s most pressing public policy matters. This year’s Washington Conference, September 16-18, introduces a number of new events, including the Produce Advocacy Bootcamp, to fully prepare attendees for U.S. House of Representatives Meetings and U.S. Senate Congressional Meetings, September 17 and 18.
Designed for first-timers of the conference, the Produce Advocacy Bootcamp, September 16 from 8:30-11:45 am, provides effective strategies for sharing the produce industry’s voice with elected officials; an overview of the industry’s key issues; and guidance on continuing advocacy efforts for your business throughout the year.
